Where do you live? I'm in Miami and I see about 3 coupes a day. Just in my neighborhood there are 4 coupes including mine. I can't stand it!!! I get frustrated.

I live in an apartment complex in Austin, and there is one CB with chrome wheels, one DG At w/ 17s and one DG 6MT - plus two Z's...in Austin it is not uncommon for me to see 3-4 other coupes a day plus around 10-15 G35 Sedans - they are very popular here...

I see a few coupes but many more sedans here in Las Vegas.
Saw a Z convertible the other day. I have a TB coupe and nobody stares at me...God I must be uglier than I thought!!
Take that back one old man did admire it with a hand on the chin and a nod .

Tons of G in orange county. I never understand the mindset of some of the G owners. The state their car is pretty (I agree), cheaper than 3series (I agree) and definately less common and will remain that way. (What is he smoking.) You have a car that is cheaper and better than the 3 series in many ways yet you think people won't flock over and buy it all up? G will be a dime a dozen, especially driven by the younger 16-20 range because it is faster and cheaper than the 3. Lots of rich parents out there.

One thing I do like though is how my Z has the nismo body kit, so everyone still stares at it... I've only seen probably a handful of modified Z's and only 1 other Z driving around in Los Angeles with a body kit. If you start talking about G35 Sedans, I couldn't even begin to count how many there are in my area. Other than the one sitting in front of my house I probably see a good 20-30 a day. More than Honda Accords in my area...

what do you guys expect?? these cars are affordable and not out of reach for a lot of teenagers and 20 something year olds. it's a low 30k car for crying out loud. if you want exclusivity, try lambo.

Re: G35C a dime a dozen..

Since I decided to get a G35 coupe around 3 weeks ago, I have seen one G35 coupe and no Zs. Of course, here in Minnesota these cars probably aren't going to be that popular (this is Audi country-A4 Quattros all over the place). They are selling briskly at the 2 dealerships around here though, so maybe they never got that many to begin with.

Coupes are still VERY rare on the upper west side of Manhattan. Only about 6 sightings for me, ever...

Re: G35C a dime a dozen..

I live in North Hollywood (1 town over from Burbank for you non-LA folks) and work in West LA. I see 1 or 2 coupes a day on my commute. In comparison, I see 10-20 sedans a day and about 100 3-series BMWs. I use my parking lot at work as a good barometer. It's an 11 story building and the salaries range from 25k to 500k a year (my estimate). In my lot there are 4 sedans and only 1 coupe, mine. However, driving through the lot you would think it doubled as a Mercedes / BMW storage facility. I would say 1 in 4 at least.

And as for getting noticed, I find people staring at the car at lights and on the freeways. I know I didnt get good looking all of a sudden, so I figure it's the car.

And if you flash me, I'll flash you back. To me it's common road courtesy. When im on my harley, I wave to other harly riders. It's a club, just like the enthusiasts for the g35c. I wont wave to a sedan tho...my arm would get tired
