120 in Seattle washington (friend of mine) 5% . He had no idea what's infiniti G35 is and when i got there he told me that if he would know that rear glass would be so difficult he would charge me allot more. i guess i got lucky Make sure that they use single piece on the rear window, sometimes when they use double they join them on the heat stripe and when they cut the film they damage the strip.

$150 for LLumar ATR Charcoal 20%.

The only reason why the back is a pain in the @ss is because the glass is angled so much that the tinter has to basically sit on the middle plastic console in the back and tilt his head up while he applies the tint.

If he's inexperienced then he'll complain about it.

Also make sure you ask your tinter if he's doing the back in one piece.. if it's 2 pieces go look for a better tinter.

Another thing: DOT MATRIX. This is the hardest part to get the tint stuck on. Some tinters do an excellent job on it and you won't see a white line around the dot matrix area (if you're looking straight at the rear side window from 2-3 feet away from your car) and some will bullsh!t you and tell you that's the best anyone can do and it can't be avoided.

Magoop is a glue product that was developed specifically for the dot matrix area but I don't know any tinter that use/used it. If the tinter uses Elmer's clear school glue get the HELL OUT OF THERE.

This is all from my own experience with tinters and tinting :T

That's a deal some places start of at 180.00. Tinting can be a DIY if you have time and patience. I used to tint glass for my friends all the time. The roll of tint will run you 50.00 (for the good stuff) 25.00 (Auto Zone) if you want to be cheap. A squeegy, a bottle of windex, a razor blade and a blower dryer and a nice garage and your all set. Back glass is a pain in the @ss. Just think about how much manuvering they have to do just to get around the upperdeck brake light!

i did 2 cars for 150 each. my integra and the g35... the integra actually costed a lot more.. since the rear was curved and rounded... i was the the g35 was real easy...

usually charge 180 for the integra, but since i did both cars, they did 300 flat for 2 cars. lifetime warranty.

so whoever complained about the g35 rear being hard,, never did an integra b4.

Thats why you fold the rear seats down....theres no way tint will come out good if you dont apply it by laying down with your legs in the trunk and seats folded down. If you dont know how to fold the rear seats, in the rear center console, reach your hand under the back pad and the plastic center, and pull out on the red cord.
