Problem with Install on Injen
I installed it and my serivce engine light came on. Tried resetting the battery etc.. Still comes on. I know it will be hard to see whats going on but does anybody have any hints on what to check on?

already did couldnt find anything. I always do a search becuase i know how some people get annoyed by the same crap being asked.

did you disconect the battery before you started taking things apart? When you unplug the MAS sensor without disconecting the neg terminal, the light will turn on. You would have to go to the dealer to get it reset.

No that's wrong. You can unplug the sensor without removing the negative terminal on the battery. The only thing you can't do is start the car or else the CEL will come on. If that sounds wierd then follow these simple instructions: Do not start the car with the sensor unplugged and do not worry about removing the sensor with the battery still connected. Ok there, I just said the same thing two times in a row. Now everyone can understand it I hope..........

nope still on. I will try and put a little bit of rubbing alcohol on the sensor. Thanks again. If this doesnt work. THen i will have to reasemble the stock intake. Turn on the car see if the light turns off. If it does then go back and put the injen one on. Damn man pissing me off. Thanks guys

You'll have to take it to the dealer to get reset. Just "resetting" the ECU as people point out won't clear the error code that gets stored when a CEL flashes.

I'm wondering why people are unplugging the MAF when they install the Injen. What on earth for? You simply place that entire section of tube (with the MAF still plugged in) in its appropriate spot in the chain of tubes, right?
At least that's what I did when I installed mine.
Also, if the polarity of the MAF tube was reversed that would cause problems.
Does your car start?

yea of cource it starts. Thats a VERY GOOD idea, i wont unplug it. And this is a friends car. My car is next. I only could get one intake and he wanted it first. So why not try on his car. For my car i wont unplug it very good idea, thanks
