My winter vehicle is a Jeep.
More waves than I know what to do with…

I go weeks without seeing another G coupe in Indy.

uh...sorry to inform you but it's only a car. It's not like we're in this exclusive society for special people. It'd be different if we knew other g35driver cars but yea...not G35's in general.

I usually wave or give a thumbs on to any other G Coupe on the road, I live in East Windsor NJ, and there is only 1 IP 05 Coupe I see drivin around, but I do notice, if I flash, or give a thumbs up, people feel they are to "cool" to respond.

But you get none of that from G drivers. Can anyone answer me why. By the way I live in NJ so maybe its just cause we are all A-holes here??
Both...
..I lived in NJ all through HS i know what you mean...but I think it is also part of the type of car thing...when I had a VW people were quite friendly to other VW drivers

Proporio, LJN, and abcdefGGGG- its not an elitist thing, or that we think are cars are just sooo hot. Its a sense of community. Try driving around town in a jeep wrangler- a car that is definitely not elite- and you will get waved at by everyone else in a jeep. Same with a motorcycle.

I'd prefer not to be waved and honked at while driving my G, even if it is for recognition on how nice a car I have. I'm too busy with LA traffic. Please just admire the car from a distance. Thanks.

I think some of those other drivers are like my wife... I replaced my Sedan stock bumper with a Gialla (very different) and I said to her: "How do you like it?". She looked at my car and said: "What?"

It's more like competition. If they see you on the road, they want to be more "special" or "better in a sense and become a knucklehead. It's like they have more pride than any other G owner therefore no love...

^^^ yeah no love because then it becomes a status or money thing rather than a community thing like brittian was saying. And it should more be a community thing, specially between modded up G's I want to mod mine pretty good, but I am not going to be a jack @ss to someone who already is modded up, I would give him more respect and love for actually getting done what I wanted to do. To each his own though right?
