Thumbs down Where is the love????

I have a question for all the G35 drivers out there. How come no one shows any love/respect to another G35 driver?? Or maybe its just me and its not done. But being an ex Subaru STi driver I was shown love/respect from like 95% of all other subaru drivers, you know just a wave a head nod, some older people at lights would yell over that it was nice, so on and so forth. But you get none of that from G drivers. Can anyone answer me why. By the way I live in NJ so maybe its just cause we are all A-holes here??

I usually throw a thumbs up to other G drivers. The older crowd around here (sarasota florida) cant even see the dash board so i dont really bother with them, but yeah usually throw a thumbs up to the younger drivers.

not too many coupes here, and usually the sedans are being driven by old foggies. i wave sometimes, but i don't think that their cataracts allow them to see me.

Yeah by me there are a lot of sedans as well, but when I see a coupe go by, since I already have my arm out the window I will at least lift it up give a point or a wave or something, but I get nothing back in return. like they are too good for that. Maybe I need more mods?

Same thing down here. I once took a Vette out for a drive and within 1/4 mile I had another Vette owner wave and honk at me. Never happened with my G. You can be cruising neck to neck with another G and they won't even notice you.

Depends where you are. Here in Long Island it is 50/50. Not too long ago a guy pulled up next to my car at taco bell I complimented him on his aftermarket wheels and we ended up having conversation. On the other hand, we have guido's that are too good to talk to anyone else.

It really depends on where you live. Most people that drive the G's where I live are old and are not into cars. I give them a thumbs up when I see them, but they look at me like why are u giving me a thumbs up. They just don't get it.

Yeah I get the old people(no offence to any older people on this site), cause I dont really expect them to know whats up. But even younger people. Anyone inbetween like 17 - 40 should still give a little respect. I mean hell, my dad is like 60 he rides a motorcycle and he still waves to everyone else on a bike that goes by. It's pretty much the same thing here. But your right, people just dont get it.

I discriminate my waves based on who I see driving. I'd rather not be associated with junior Gottis or G-unit all-stars.

B4 I got my coupe, I rarely seen them on the road. Now that I have one (DG), I see them all up in my hood. If I'm at a red ligt and look over and see someone else driving the same color as me, it's more embarrasing than anything else. Maybe it's b/c mine has no mod's (yet)
coming soon

yeah i gave up a long time ago also... i don't even bother, however if somebody will wave to me or whatever, I will go ahead and do the same. But I'm not wasting my time to initiate it anymore.

I gave up after I pulled up to someone and gave them a thumbs up and they rolled their window down and asked what I was talking about. It finally took him about a minute to figure out that we were both driving in the same car. Same color too.
