I pay $5.43CDN per gallon here in eastern Canada. Mind you our Imperial gallon is a little bigger than a US gallon, but it is still pretty damn expensive.

Pwhittaker, even though you pay $5.29 a gallon, how much gas do you think you would burn in the run of a week? I have been to the Caymans as well and it is a fairly small island. I wouldn't imagine that you would put alot of mileage on in the run of a week driving in the Caymans. If you can like the G and can afford it, go for it. Good luck with what you decide.

Btw, the Caymans is a beautiful place, you must really enjoying living there!

If your brother spends $125 a week for Ram w/Hemi, I would say you could probably cut that almost in half for the G (just guessing). Maybe $60-$70 a week might do it with the G.

thats true, but if I if did get a G I wouldn't be able to get it under warranty. There aren't any Infiniti dealerships on the island. And what I have been reading on the forum, the G has alot of little problem that are easily fixed under warranty. so all thoses little fixups would be coming out of my pocket. That could get expensive . At least if i do get the SI I can get it under warranty and I have to worry about any of that.

Do you have any Nissan dealers on the island? If so, they will do warranty work for you. The closest Infiniti dealer to me is a 4 hour drive, so I just get all my work done at my local Nissan dealership.
