I took my new 2006 G35 Coupe in for a ding repair (for free by dealer) and they gave me a loaner for the day. It is an 04 Sedan. I can't believe how not different but really different the interior is. The plastic looks a lot cheaper. The redesigned interior is just so much nicer. Thank god I did not choose the 04 with brembos over an 06. For those who are considering and 04 versus an 05, the interior just makes it no comparison I can just imagine how pissed I will be when the new sedan comes out with the really nice interior.

 

I agree. I had the choice when I bought my 05 coupe. I'm not going to bring up the whole lists of what is different from the 03/04 vs. 05/06. Everyone knows by now what the difference is. Basically, it almost all comes down to the 04 having Brembos. Now, I would have love to have the Brembos if there weren't a few things wrong with them:

1. Alot of brake dusts.
2. I have 4 friends who have the previous years and all said they have some sort of problems with the Brembos.
3. The damn gold color. No car should have anything gold, IMHO.
4. Expensive maintanence.

Now, that being said, I can't think of any other thing on the 03/04 that I would have liked on my car.

Anywho, it's all good though. I'm sure the ones who bought the car loves it for when they bought it. Same goes for me when I saw the 06. I really wished I got the projectors (now it is all moot since I have something special in the works).

 

well i got an 04 coupe and i have so many problems with it that i know the service number by heart. and the staff all know me and my car. well again today i got the privlage to visit them to get my car repaired again. they gave me an 05 loaner and i am mad as hell the interior is much better . and the car fells so much better on the road. if you have a choice pay a little more and get the o5 or 06. i am waiting for my lease to end next year and getting the 07.

 

U're just jealous cuz u don't have brembos! har har
