Sat Radio Cost on MSRP??
Sat Radio Cost on MSRP??
When a new coupe comes with sat radio already installed as an option from the factory....is there any additional install cost that are needed to receive the service? I thought that in the sat price it includes all the hardware as well as activation fee, and 3 months of service. I'm asking b/c my dealer quoted me a car with xm radio/premium/tire&wheel pack with MSRP of 38,335 which includes XM but then he said he would give me the car at invoice + $695 Sat radio. Why is he adding the sat fee to the cost when it's already figured out in the invoice as well? I would think that if the dealer installed the sat radio and then I would get hit with that cost, but if it's already there as an option, there should be no more costs involved correct? Please give your feedbacks. Thanks.
sounds like some confusion the dealer and the cost of xm..i know when i bought my 06 a few weeks back they asked me if i wanted xm..i asked a few ? they told me that my radio is xm ready but it would need a tuner and ant for it to work.a 650 option..to be honest with you..it would be soo much cheaper to buy one from bestbuy or tweeter etc...and have them install it for you..should cost you no more than 200 bucks with install depending on which model and type you get..so in other words either have the dealer install it and tell them to eat the 650 bucks or go aftermarket
