Problems with the G35C 6MT

I found my way to this site a few months back after purchasing my 06' G35 6MT. I was suprised by the number of post I saw about tranny's chattering when shifting from 1st to 2nd, and the unusual amount of post about squeeks and rattles in the interior.....as well as poor gas mileage. I don't know if I'm one of the lucky few or not, but I have not experienced ANY of these problems. The car runs and shifts perfectly and there are not squeeks or rattles at all. I feel sorry for those who purchased the car in this price point and are having those problems. Had I visited this site prior to purchasing the car those post probably would've influenced me not to buy the car. My only complaint is the noticeable lack of torque in the 6MT as well as a very bare bone interior. Some of my co-workers purchased the TL and IS and the interiors are far superior to the G35. Other than that I'm pleased with the car. I've had guys in BMW's and Mercedes creep up at stop lights to get a better look at the car. It really is a nice looking car as far as body style is concerned. The only mods I've done are clear corners, which are a must for a black G, and having the OEM 19's chromed. This will definately be the last black car I EVER purchase. It stays clean for about a day after washing it, and I keep it garaged.
