06' coupe window motor

so I go to have them check my 06 coupe passenger window because it was making slight noise rolling back up I thought due to lack of lubrication.. so they tell me they replaced the window motor. ... ..

well I get it back and the noise is worse than when I took it there? What's up with that???

yeah I went to metro. The guys are def cool peeps.. but the noise sucks. I thought they just needed to lube it.

sounds like a little bit of click or something. I don't know how to explain it.

The g35 coupe's have known to have problems with their windows, especially with their window motors. I have already brought my car into the dealer to replace my windows motor b/c the window wouldn't go up or down. So I say if ur car is still under warranty bring it in again and ask them to replace it again.

well I'm taking it in today for them to take a look at it again. I'm wondering if they even replaced the window motor the first time now?

Now I'm afraid to get my tint done because they claim that tint is a primary cause for noise. Luckily my windows aren't tinted " yet "

I'm wondering when we close our doors the windows moves up to a little to form a tighter seal, could it be they haven't perfected that function and that what's creating all the problems.

I've had many Nissans ie. 300ZX Turbo, 2 Maxima, currently 03 Altima (tinted), others but they didn't have PW, and never had I had any problems with the PWs. I have to think they have the technology after all these years to make it reliable. My only conclusion is the only difference in the PW is the sealing of the window.

I was just thinking ........I don't do that to often

I think this may be my problem too. I have a brand new 06 coupe with less than 1k miles and I hear this clicking noise when I'm driving. I thought the noise could be coming from the center console or dash or the rearview mirror but it doesn't appear to be the case. Are you guys hearing this noise only when rolling up your window or when its actually rolled up and your driving?? Please let me know so I can decide whether to bring it in to the dealership or not.

no I'm not hearing anything while driving, it is stricly a noise from the function of the PW itself.

screw that, if it's out of warranty and you continue to have the problems couldn't you file a complaint with infiniti to have them honor it? shoot I would ask to keep the old motors just in case. LOL at least they work haha
