I've had a black murano for three years. Never again! Liquid platinum always looks clean.

I hear you... I will be getting something metallic for my next G. Black is just too much work. Between using the California duster daily, quick detailing all the time, polishing, washing, waxing, sealing, etc. Uuugh. However, if you don't mind all that... go for the black. I won't again.

Get the rare colors, Like Lakeshore Slate, hardly anybody has them and they look gorgeous, easy to keep clean.

Go with the Metallic Silver...I got it, and i don't regret it. You get the advantage of the sleek/professional look....while it doesn't get dirty too quickly either. Plus....if you ever get scratches from some dumbass, it doesn't show as well.

Trust me on this one.

Laser Red - too flashy its the cops who'll notice you
Ivory Pearl - Nice color but nothing special
Obsidian Black - Definitely the Top choice out of the three. Its a sleek color. Its hard to maintain but since you'll wash your car every week anyways, it won't be a problem.

If its my choice, I'll pick DIAMOND GRAPHITE BABY!!!! YEAH!!!

stay away from red. easier for cops to see. I drive a little aggressive so I try not to stand out too much. Liquid Platinum was my choice it also (as dave chappelle would say) sounds baller.

I personally like laser red and black obsidian best. LR coupes definitely stand out from the crowd when you're cruising around. However, as others have said it's not the greatest color if you like speeding through traffic unnoticed.

The black coupes look really slick. The ones I've seen have that Knight Rider appeal, especially when they're limo tinted.

Overall, you really can't lose since the G looks awesome in any color.

I have had a black sedan and a black vert. I will never buy another black colored car again. The time required to keep a black car looking fresh is rediculous.

Black or Red

Had them both. My 03 was red with willow, loved it & now my 05X is black on black. I have had 4 red cars before my black one & I love that color but I have to say black does look better! It just looks richer, classier. When you see a $130,000 MB most are black, when you see a long limo, most are black, 7 series BMW, all I see is black , it is just classier! I agree to keep it looking immaculate you have to wash it every third day & dry it or the spots drive you crazy, but from a distance a dirty black car still looks great. Look at some on the road & from a distance they look great & when you pull beside them you can see they are dirty.

I am now waiting for the 07's & will likely get another black one. I bought a 05 Honda Odesey Touring for my wife, black on black & it looks better than every other Odesey I have seen.

You have to wash your G ever 3rd day anyways just to get rid of the brake dust.

No offense to Silver drivers but they look boring, no shine & every other car on the road is silver around here. I would actually buy any color other than silver, but I apppreciate it is a personal decision.

I laugh at the cops pulling you over more with a red car comment. When they set up radar they don't care what color the car is??? Like I said I have had 4 red cars in a row over 10 years & never noticed that at all!

My $0.02!
