Lower seat for more headroom?

Lower seat for more headroom?
As a tall driver (6'5"), headroom in my G35C is marginal. Has anyone had success at lowering the seat? Has anyone removed or compressed the material in the seat bottom? Half an inch more headroom would help!

Why don't you raise the sit and stick your head out the sunroof and drive? =P
Seriously, though some members on this forum had some of the padding in the back support of their seats removed for better comfort and better width adjustment. I'm guess you could probably do the same to the seat bottom to lose some height. These low roofline cars make me glad I am short. =P
