6th to 2nd shift, need a peace of mind regarding damage.

you didn't rev match? i revmatch from 6th to 2nd all the time and the car is fine. but if you didn't revmatch (you should revmatch even from 6th to 4th) then you might have some problems with your flux capacitator. that might have been the jerk that you felt. take it to your dealer have em check it out just in case.

And I did rev match! Rev-matched for a 6th to 4th shift!!!
How fast were you going at the time? I'm still in my break-in period so I don't know the answer to this, but I'm assuming 2nd gear is good up until about 65MPH?? As long as you were under that, I wouldn't expect any damage occuring from what you described.
