Question on screwing in the aluminum metal ebrake pedal
Home Depot and bought a stainless steel counter sunk machine screw and nut and attached it through the pedal pad to the e-brake lever/arm.
I saw this post in the forum. I installed the aluminum pedals last week and gorilla glued the floor emergency brake pedal. Today it came off. I would like to screw the pedal into the hole on the lever/ arm but am wondering has anyone else done this? There is a hole in the lever/ arm already but I am wondering on the metal pedal where you put the screw through. Did you put it through the metal or did you put it through one of the round rubber holes in on the aluminum petal? If you did, which hole lines up on the petal to go through the lever. I tried taking a marker and going through the lever to outline but dosent seem to be working out to good so if anyone has done this, can you please post how you did it.
Thanks,
Chris

I ended up removing the rubber attachment(original) from the e-brake, and shaving the back rubber peice of the aluminum pedal. Once I shaved/cut the back of the pedal to slide ontop/over the e-brake, then I put a very tiny screw through the middle rubber hole and scewed a nut on the back side. It hasn't fell of yet, and can't even tell that the screw wouldn't belong in the center peice of the pedal.
Just be sure you don't get to small of a screw that it goes through the center rubber on the aluminum pedal and ends up sliding through the hole on the e-brake.
This little tweek to the e-brake just makes the other aluminum pedals down there.... that much more sweet!

Hey, Thanks for the responses guys.. I hit up Home Depot this morning and bought a metal/ concrete two part expoxy and also a two part expoxy gel ... I tried the metal/ concrete one first.. Ill test it out tmrw once its thoroughly dried and if that dosent work Ill try the gel (only $3 a an injector tube) .. if that dosent work Ill do the screw through the old cover and use some expoxy and crazy glue and then slip it on... Ill post back how I make out with just using the epoxy onto the lever in a few days...
