Charging port broken

Anyone else had this experience where the charging port in the center console doesn't seem to work anymore? I can still charge my phone through the cigarette lighter but I don't like it there b/c of the stick.

Yup.. My power point on the driver side stopped working and then last week I noticed my passenger side one doesn't work. Should be cleared up easily and for free by the dealer. I'll have them look at it on my next oil change.

I have yet to check my fuses. But I assume they are in working order b/c I have my DVD player plugged into 15A (which is the cig port) and I have my screens plugged into the power port and they both still work. Is it possible to have the fuses blow and still have something plugged into the fuse spot working?

Not sure. I suppose it would depend on which side of the fuse those devices are tied into. But it certainly is possible to have the power port fuse blown but not the cig lighter... because that's my case right now. =p I just found my box of spare fuses yesterday. Either way, it's worth a shot to check before going into something deeper.

Yeah, I guess I'll quit being lazy and check my fuses.
