If those rims aren't chromed out, how the hell are they so shiny?

 

It is shown in the tag line of each post, that is: 18" PermaStar rimsw/nittos. PermaStar is an entirely new process which produces an end result that looks like Chrome, but does not suffer the disadvantages of chrome. If you abrade, or nick a chrome rim you run the risk of electrolysis starting because you would be dealing with three dissimilar metals.
