It's kinda hit and miss with replicas. Some times they have good fitment and other times, they're s.hit. But i think more often then not, the silvia parts grille is pretty good fitment.

do you guys think this kind of grill "cheapens" the luxury look of the G. Now obviously, for those of you that have one you will say no, but i was considering one and putting the Mt. Fuji symbol back in the middle, but i dont want to take away from the luxury aspect of the stock grill and start making it look racer/ricey.. hmm
Personally, I wanted to downplay the 'Infiniti aspect' of the car just a bit, at a casual glance, which meant getting rid of the Infiniti emblems on the outside and that oh-so-blingy chromed-plastic grill.
I like the car. I don't care for it being marketed as an Infiniti here and, frankly, find it a bit snobby to play it up as more than a Nissan. But then, I've changed the bumper and grill and have added an aftermarket spoiler and the NISMO/KarumaZ diffuser. I'm more interested in a sporty look than a luxury look. The OEM style was just a good starting point for me.
Also, after owning a '55 Chevy Bel Air 2-door Hardtop, I've lived with my share of big, chrome grills (etc.) I don't have a lot of attraction to the predominant, look-at-me chromed-plastic grills being used to make a lot of new cars look 'nicer'. The G's OEM grill, while looking nice, fits into this category. Take the grill off and suddenly there's not such a chrome/fancy look to it (unless you consider sexy lines on a great body fancy enough, which I do
). Being one of the only chrome items on the exterior of the car (aside from emblems on the trunk), it really fits under the 'tacked-on luxury' category.
All that said, a clean opening might not look as fancy (to some) as the chrome OEM grill. Just depends on the style you want.
