IMHO the new IS250/350 look better than the new G35. And I own a older G35.

This is my favorite: Meteoro, a senior moderator, writes, "I like the cars, the styling, performance, but ALL infinitis, and for that fact most new nissans as well, lack that untangible feeling...for lack of a better term soul."

Someone should remind him there is a better term. One found in the English dictionary: 'Intangible'.

IS300's; no one likes them. Tail lights are rice and they're slow.

aren't we talking about the IS350 versus the G35 coupe? they're comparable with the new G35 sedan engines, and they kick the coupe's **** in pure acceleration. I'd say it's a different flavor for handling, but pure grip, handling, steering accuracy, and feel... the G35 would be the better of the two.

As for "soul", I'd have to disagree with the quoted comment and say that after test driving the IS350, I felt that the driving characteristics of the car were in a word... dull. However, the interior quality, fit and finish is superior to the infiniti in every way.

OK, too much to read now..
Has anyone driven all three? I have when making my decision to buy the G35. I actually took it a few steps further and drove teh STi, the A4, the EOS (because it was there)....

The G35 coupe by FAR superior to the IS350 in my opinion. why?
1. Manual Transmission.. .. The IS350 is made for pansyasses. .. Not offering an MT is like .. well, I can't think of anything, but it's not good!..

2. The lack of rear legroom was overwhelming!.. I couldn't believe I was sitting in a 4-door.. Why did the G35 coupe feel like there was more legroom? Less headroom though
..
3. Holy narrow track batman. The car feels like it's on rails, until you go around a turn.. then it feels like two wheels are on rails and the other two are about to be slowly shifting above you rather than beneath you..

BMW...
As the BMW 330ci was nice indeed an $8,000.00 price difference was not my cup o' Joe.. that's all i have to say about that..

A4.. Do I really have to touch this one? .. A4.. not S4.. nough said..

the BMW 330 is a better car. I will not take that away from them... But.. it's not worth the difference in $$ to me..

The IS is in serious need of a refresh and in more serious need of a more sport inspired design.

Yes, I like the IS350. My rather poor, blanket statement was in regards to IS300's as many of whom posted, in the thread in question, were owners of them.

The IS350's back seat is ridiculous. I really think it's smaller than my coupe's. Straight-line acceleration, it felt smooth and quick. Oddly enough, the lexus website stated 0-60 of 5.3 (original number) but the new IS350 pamphlet I picked up at the Lexus dealer shows a 0-60 of 5.6.

Overall, the 350 is far superior to the IS300 and a step in the right direction. A little too spendy for what you get, in my opinion.

IS350 doesn't have character, its a fast entry level luxury sedan with no steering feel.
Let them bash on the G!
