Thumbs down Dont hit curbs doing 50mph

I messed up pretty badly today. I was on a twisty road doing 50. My tires are pretty worn out, so traction was not that great, and on top of that they might have been a little wet.

So basically I was driving too fast and the rear end spun out to the left. I slid into the curb and my left rear wheel got hit hard. When I got out the wheel was sitting at a 60 or 70 degree angle. I drove it to a friends house about a mile away, always staying below 15mph, and the entire time the car was making "drifting" noises, and it was hard to keep under control.

I took a look under the car. The sway bar was completely twisted up, and the control arm is also destroyed, and I think the axle may be bent up a little. The axle will be 720, and the control arm is about 120, and I don't know about the sway bar. Hopefully it will be less than 1500 to repair.

It's at Infiniti right now and they will look at it Tuesday. This was a great way to ruin my labor day weekend

Ouch! Sorry to read about your incident. However, good to read that nothing serious happened to you. Good luck with your fix.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost? And why did it take so long. I really hope it doesn't take them 3 weeks to fix mine
