hello everyone...former lurker here...now a proud new owner of a 2004 carribean blue coupe...hopefully i can contribute to this board in the future...i'll be picking up my plates tomm and i'm debating whether or not i should have the front plates put on...it requires drilling of the bumper, looks ugly, but it gives the cops an excuse to pull me over...what do you guys recommend? on or off...by the way, what is the law here in texas regarding front plates...thanks

 

I reccommend off. But if you are going to put a front plate do not drill holes. I suggest you purchase this bracket.

it's off topic but you said 2004 carribean blue coupe.. i thought carribean blue has been replaced with twilight blue starting 04 production... anyway i recommend don't put the front tags on...

 

I'm in TX, never had the front plate on, and never been pulled over or hassled for it. In fact, I got pulled over for speeding a couple times and neither cop even mentioned it.
