while driving today another G35 coupe came up behind me on the interstate, then all of a sudden he flew around me just to cross back over in front of me and hit the off ramp, what an ****, anyway i was getting off at the same exit. i noticed it didnt have brembos so it must have been an 5AT, mine is a 6MT, we both turned right at the light so he hit the right lane and i shot over into the left lane, i thought this might be a good chance to run another coupe, well i was already in 2nd so i punched it and shot way out in front of him (damn it felt great with VDC off, i just started turning it off), the tach just shot up and all of a sudden it felt like my car came out of gear but it didnt, i almost hit the damn windshield, i was like WTF? but then i figured I must have hit the rev limiter. ive never done that before, then again i have never really pushed the car yet, guess ill be expecting that next time.
