Just test drove the SC G35 tonight

The test drive stared off great, the car was in absolute perfect condition and looked amazing, torwards the end of the hour long test drive I got on it to see what it had and after doing so I slowed down and started to take off again and there was a problem. At 2400 RMS it felt like the car was rev-limiting, it was like I had it past 8000 RMS, it was sputtering like it was taching out. I called a good friend of mine and he says its most likely a software problem and another guy with a 350z SC said it could be a vacum build up something about the air not being able to flow out properly and the car goes into "safe mode" When this happened. I turned the car off for 15 sec and it was fine. The buyer gave me a 30 Day no questions asked offer back on the car for a full refund if I didnt want it so I took the car cause there is absolutely no risk. I can return the car for any reason with 30 days or 500 miles for a full refund thats how sure he was it was not a major problem. Have you guys heard of this before??? iF so what is it, Im bring the car in on monday to a tuning shop to check it out so I will inform you when I know more but in the mean time all help would be great. Besides that problem that car is amazing and everything I expected.

sounds like he want to sell you the car pretty bad... as if there are no other buyers... I would be cautioned.

30 days or 500 miles? That is not a lot of driving and problem sounds like it's more serious than not. Check for metal shavings when you change the oil. IS there black or white coming out of the exhaust?

Did you get the 30 Day money back guarante in writing? I sure hope you did. Also not to be negative, but I have not heard good things about the ATI Procharger.

yes the 30 days is in writing and its up to 500 miles and $1 per mile after. I brought the car into the shop and it was something to do with the vacum and air flow. they said it didnt cause any damage to the sc or motor b/c the car limited the rpms to 2400 putting it into "safe mode" so the shop fixed it and it is good to go. Im very happy with the car, it looks amazing in person, the ebay pics did it no justice and it is pretty damn fast.
