Whistle While I Drive

I've got 2400 miles on my 06 6MT coupe. Noticing everytime rpms start to drop that there is a faint to noticeable whistle sound. While it happens sometimes while shifting, its definitely not clutch related. Anyone else experiencing this? and found out what the source of problem is? not a major deal but I'd like to know if this is something I should be bringing into dealer for a look see.
Thanks
Chasman

Same here...

Lets say im rolling in 3rd gear at a constant 3500 RPM, and I decide to engine brake my way down to 2000 RMP. There would be this whistle that almost sounds like a Mini-Jet turbine. Its not that load but its noticeable to the driver (and passenger)

haha, nice. If only we were all SC.

Actually, I have an 03 and I just started to notice a "whistling" sound, maybe more of a high pitched tone. I do not have a modified intake, so thats not the problem.

Me too, but I just installed a Z-tube last night and that's when it started. Someone said in another thread that it's not the Z-tube but actually the K&N panel filter causing the whistle so I'm going to try putting the paper OEM one back in later today and see what happens.

Optional
Its air swishing around the edges of the throttle plate as it turns to ingest more air.
