Seat belt possible fix

I'm having the seat belt problem also and was at local Walmart today looking for shoulder pads when i saw a little clip device that fastens to belt right at buckle, after you snap in you can slide it 5" or so and it moves angle of belt out shoulder and takes the tension off the harness. Too soon to be sure it is the solution and I think we all soon keep complaining to our dealers until Infinity is forced to come up with a fix. I apologize if this has been mentioned before. I found a website on the package if you want to check it out-www.seatbeltadjuster.ca PS, mine is black, the one on the website is pink or something probably so it will show in picture. how about some feedback if anyone trys it.

What an interesting device I hope it works well. I think I'll get one just to try it and see if it really works. Thanks for the tip.

Get a seat belt extension for a more permanent fix, i got one and it works wonders! You can get it from grubbs Infiniti , shop around for a good price , around 28 dollars or so.

I agree that it's a problem for a lot of driver esp. 5' to 5'2" tall. I had to buy my girlfriend a shoulder pad and it works ok. Although i think Infinity has to find a fix for this one since most of their cars have a built in adjuster (except coupes).

Re: Seat belt possible fix

Exactly what does the seat belt adjuster do to help the problem. I thought it was for large people who couldn't buckle the regular belt around them. Now that I've had the clip a few days, it helps somewhat, but having to slip the belt into the clip each time is a pain and not the final answer. I agree with a previous poster that part of the problem is too much tension on the retractor spring. I intend to take it out and see if it is adjustable and/or replaceable with another make.

Hey Mercury. That is what I've said at a previous post. It must be the tensioner. Too much tension! I tried the seat belt extension and it did not work for me. It just put the conector on top of my stomach making it more uncomfortable. Please keep us posted.

Re: Seat belt possible fix

the seat belt cuts my neck sometimes, I think i'll just slap on a shoulder pad. The seat belt extender looks so weird.
