my new car came with a dent from the dealer ahhh

hey guys i just got an 06 6mt coupe .

when i picked up the car my dealer showed me a small ding on the bottom of my drivers side fender, they promised to fix it for me next week.

i dont think this dent can be suked out so will this mean they have to repaint my fender

my car is black so will repainting the fender sacrifice the paint durability

nothing beats factory paint. you should ask for a replacement

if you didn't take it yet, tell them to order you a new one. If you took it home already, you will have no choice but to have them repaint it

Try this.............

Tell the stealership you don't want the fender repainted! Have them use someone like Dentmasters
or one of the other guys that does paintless dent
removal. Dealerships (with a S) use these guys all
the time. Let them know that's how you want it done! Congrats on the new ride..........LOL

They can't remove the dent if they can't get behind
it. So........yes the small hole is needed. After they
take out the dent they put a rubber plug over the
hole....no body will ever know!

only in areas where they cant get into it...but no worries one hole that you wont see and they will seal it up is better than a possibly poor matched painted fender..

Where I bought my car they didn't have the car with the options I wanted so they got one from another dealership. I got a call from the fleet mgr when the car came in and he informed me that there was a chip in the front bumper and a small scratch in the driver door. Bottom line was that both the bumper and door needed to be repainted and I told them there would be no way I would take the car. I then received another call from the fleet mgr and he explains to me that he had their top detail guy look at my car and he was able to fix everything, it's been detailed and ready to go. I picked up the car in the early evening, he proceeds to show me the areas of concern and that it looks perfect now.

The next day I noticed the chip was fixed expertly using touchup paint and the scratch was still lightly visible. I was fuming mad They purposely deceived me and tried to pass this off as if I wouldn't notice. They agreed to replace my bumper with a bumper off another new 06 coupe and I also wanted to see my original bumper after they completed the installation. The other stipulation was that the scratch had to be taken out to my satisfaction. The reason I went along with this was that this particular dealership doesn't have their own body shop, so send out all their cars to this one shop. This body shop happens to be owned by a friend of mine, he told me that if these weren't right he would let me know. Well, everything worked out fine but like the old saying goes, "the sqeaky wheel gets the oil". The other reason I went along with the exchange, I got my Aero package thrown in at no charge. I'm sure if I would not have put up a fuss they would have just painted the bumper and sent me on my way. There is no better paint than factory paint. I would have them either replace the car or has in my case replace the parts. If you have taken ownership of the car you can still try to make them replace the parts.

well im giving it in next week the fleet mgr is giving me his car as a loner and since i live 2 hours away from the dealership they are gonna pick up my car,
i have i statment saying they owe me a fix on the fender and small scartch on the bumper,

i m gonna tell the guy that under no circumstansess may u repaint the car, swap the parts only if needed.

if they swap the parts to originally painted parts off another car, will my alightnment and durability be the same as originally?

If it's fixable with PDR and they can get to it without drilling, then it is not big deal.
