You should not use regular window cleaner for the guages because most regular window cleaners contain ammonia and that is a no-no for tinted windows and plastic lenses on the guages. Use cleaners that are safe for tinted windows and you should be ok.

The reason for the "no tire dressing" is because they have ben known to somehow stain the paint. This is usually more noticeable on white & when so much has ben applied that the excess slings on the side of the car.

I use the tire stuff, and even the dealer does it, cause everytime they wash it, tires are mad shiny and it even drips on to the wheels, so I have to wipe it down.
