so im just driving around the beach on PCH and some guys head pops out of a car and hes like nice car and starts taking pics lol i thought they only do that with feraris....

 

The last Porsche I owned was a 993 and my G coupe has gotten far more comments from strangers than the 993. It kind of catches me off guard because unlike when I drove the Porsche, I don't expect people to ask about my car. In the last two weeks I had a guy comment on the great looking wheels on my car, and two other guys on separate occassions asked me about my car when I had it parked on a nearby bike and hike trail. It definately is a head turner, and I must admit that I didn't expect it.

 

I must admit our cars do look dam good.!!

Most of the time I love it when people ask about my G. When I'm in a hurry I hate it. I hate it because I don't want them to think I'm snobbish or that I think I'm all that. My wife has been driving my G since she wrecked her car and I worry because she says she gets a lot of attention. It was bad enough with a pretty lady in a Lexus, now it's a pretty lady in a G with big lipped wheels. Scary.

the past three or four fill ups at wawa have gotten me nice car comments every time... other than that it's prolly at least once or twice a week.. i think it's cool from girls (of course) but i feel weird when guys with a kids walk up n tap the window to tell me lol

seems like u get a lot more attention then me.....over here in the chicago burbs i get head turns and only the occasional nice car, but it sounds like ur G definitely outdoes mine in terms of compliments.....i dont think anyone has ever tapped on my window to tell me they like my car

 

oh ya and on the way some guy a an is350 gave me a thumbs up.. what a lucky day for my car lol

 

oh and i also had a bunch of 5 year old yelling at me saying nice car..that was a while ago lol

 

i dont know where uall from, but in northern VA, there are just a crap load of Gs (and everything else).. so it's not special at all. i still love my IP G, but i see soooo many Gs everyday. but then again, i see ferraris and lambos on a daily basis since there is a ferrari/lambo dealership in Sterling and thats where i live!

still gotta love the Gs tho.. its still one of the best looking cars on the road. just that there are wayyyy too many of them around.

 

yeah...some guy with his family and kids tapped my window...and i was like... wtf does this guy want??? he just wanted to say nice car...and talk about stuff...but i was in a hurry....hopefully i didn't seem snobbish.
