Mine's case is totally opposite, I hate to have to touch my trunk lid when it's full of dust and dirty my fingers. always gotta wash my hands.

The trunk get dusty very easily too...

I just put two fingers in the "base of Mt. Fuji" and close it that way. The chrome doesn't show fingerprints.

My STi has a handle. Actually, it's the plastic surround for the emergency release but can be used as a grab handle. I agree that this would be more difficult to implement because of the gas struts used to lift the trunk. It's funny that my old 94 Accord had gas struts on the trunk and now it's pretty much a feature only on luxury cars. Heck, I remembered a time when only the cheapest cars didn't have gas struts or some form of self propping device for the hood too!

If you didnt debadge just use 2 fingers inside the mount Fuji emblum, you will see where they fit well; you then pull the trunk closed and never touch the paint

i totally feel you. my trunk always ends up with fingerprints on my black paint and it drives me crazy. but the same is true with the glass on the window on the passenger side bc my girlfriend always grabs the window to close the door... i always try to close the door/trunk with my forearm or elbow =)

They charge 1.1 labor hours to adjust the window after it gets out of adjustment from people closing the door using the window (if she don't stop, you will be at the dealer eventually getting the thing fixed), you should always use the door handle to open and close the doors.

a handle on the inside of the lid would be useless for those of us without spoilers. the hydraulics that hold the lid up are too powerful considering how light the trunk lid is. i just use my palm on the side of the lid and swing it down. it works fairly well.

No so...
I have a friend that added a handle loop inside, sort of like the one in a vintage Volkwagon beetle at the rear door... He just gives a quick tug and lets go; the trunk closes fine; he has no spoiler.
I just use the Mouunt Fuji emblum.

I have a black G and I keep a small micro fiber towel behind my seat just for closing the trunk. My friends laugh be screw them. You all know how the black cars show all of the finger prints...

I have a black G and I've gotten quite good at using the Infiniti emblem to close the trunk.

i either use the mt fuji when im lazy

or

use a piece of soft cloth/tower to close it and throw the towel back in through the drivers side lol

oh yeh i always always have my back seats folded down which is why i can throw it all the way back to the trunk

i dont even think my car is a 4 seater anymore..when people ask i tell them 2..

mainly cause i dont like giving people rides cause their hair oils get on the rear window and thats a b!tch to clean!

whoa..somehow i got off topic LOL
