Exclamation Motor Swap in the G-Coupe

Well I've been doing some research and have come to find out that the Q45 v8 motor can be dropped into my G35 with minimal modification . My question for all you gear heads and swap kats is would you go with swapping it out and twin turboing it or would you stay with the same motor and work that one up?

That picture doesn't look like 'minimum modification' to me.

Yeah I know I'm late but I went from a G35 killer with my ls/vtec supercharged civic to a g35 (soon to be an M3/M5 killer). Besides I have'nt seen to many "daily drivers" with swaps especialy in G's.

well, on your original question, depending on what kind of money you wanted to spend (or not spend), if all you wanted was a M3 killer (did you mean the V8 M3 that will come out in the next couple years, or e46?), then just do some mild build up on the VQ35 and TT or supercharge. If you're looking to do some serious racing and taking on some bigger fish, then go with the 4.5. This is all assuming there is "minimal modification" for the "drop-in" for the 4.5.

I like the 2jz-gte idea, but wtih real 2jz's. the g is really heavy so prolly need a bigger engine. how about the rb26det if you wanna spend a lot.
