Aero Spoiler install question

ok I am having the dealer install a 05 spoiler on my 06 next week. Does the third brake light get disabled or does it still work with the spoiler lights? They are supposed to install the underbody fairings. How can I check they are installed? (They were trying to weazle their way out of this, and just install the spoiler)

Thanks

I have a 05 spoiler on my 06 and you will have the led brake light working on your spoiler and also the b light in the rear cabin against the window.

to check for the underbody diffusers just look underneath the car for them

this is a sedan diffuser all i could get

if you raise the car up you will notice and can tell that the under belly of the car is more flowing and you will see it

you should unplug the 3rd light inside of the car by unpluging it. 2 3rd lights look really funny..

My friend and I both have 06 coupes and had the dealer install the "Aero Package" and they disconnected the third brake light. I had my back window tinted at 20% to make the third brake light not as noticeable.

The under air diffuser are 4 pieces at the rear that lay flat. 2 in front and 2 behind the rear tires. If you look closely on the side of 2 of them you will see a Nissan part number and a description saying underbody diffuser with a barcode.

Hope this helps........

Aero Kit

The diffuser are those black plastic piece under your rear tires area.
see my previous post for pictures. It suppose to direct underneath airflow away from you car to achieve that so-call zero-lift..blah blah..Now if you are paying for the "Aero Kit Package", then by all mean make sure you get your money worth and they MUST install the diffusers for you. I order my coupe with the Aero package and they got me one without it...so now I got them to agree on replacing my entire shelf-deck for that 3rd brake light holes.

4? I only got 2 when I ordered from everythingG35 last year. they went in front of the rear wheels on my 05 sedan. Super simple install.

Disabling the mounted brake light is totally up to you. It's just as easy and installing the spoiler led. That's funny...you have an 06' but going with the 05' spoiler whereas I went the other way around. The 05' spoiler just doesn't have the appeal as the 06' does.
