$36,500 for 2006 6MT GCoupe Tomorrow - Yes?

Hello Guys,

I've been wanting a G for nearly two years now and I still want it!
I got an offer of $36,500 w/o TTL and APR at 3.95% for 60/Mo. $5000 down.

With the following options:

They say they will have my car sometime mid of next week.
              Is this a good deal?

Also how much will my monthly note be?

              Thanks!

              Wow, my first post.

Well assuming your tax will be around 6 or 7% you are looking at around 630 a month.

Thats with the calculation that your Out the Door cost is like 39000.

Sounds a little steep. Do some research on-line. I believe you can get a better deal.

              deal made

Thank you for the replies but it kinda late. I already made the deal....there are only three dealers in my area and they all dont have what I want. All my local dealers have to ship it in and that was my best offer I could get. So I guess its not a great deal but I thought it was fair. They loan me a 06 GCoupe AT until my car is deliver sometime of mid next week (hopefully wednesday).

and I will try not to get too used to this intelligent key. pretty neat

              Still no G yet

I am still waiting for my car! They told me due to the weather, there is a feight delayed and my car won't be deliver until Monday (or Tuesday). So on the mean time, my sales guy just told me to enjoy the loaner. The problem is that the longer I hold on to this loaner G....I found new dings that I didn't see before so I don't want them to blame me later for it. It could be that I am just paranoid.

On the side note: my dealer offer me this "Dent Protection Plan" that will cover any ding/dents on my car that is no bigger than the bottom of a coke can for 3 years. It doesn't matter on the numbers of dings/dent. Do anyone have any experience with this protection plan?

is it the polyshield protection plan? b/c that 5 year plan works out well

my dealership also sells a tire/wheel protection warranty so if you hit a pothole or it blows out a tire they'll fix it. curb marks are excluded though

polyshield protection plan? and thats with 5 years? i didnt get the name of that protection plan but i will ask about that polyshield deal when i go pick up my car (any day soon now I hope...then keep on telling me that there is some sort of delay in the shipping!). also how much is that plan? One last question: how strict do dealer check the loaner car? thanks

I was offered a dent protection plan as well, but it sounds like a different thing. What I was offered was basically a card that was good to have a certain number of small dents and a certain number of large dents removed. For what they wanted for it, it was a rip off.

With the pricey 19" wheels and tires, I did go with the wheel and tire protection plan. My plan covers structural as well as cosmetic (curb rash) damage. I think I paid $3-400 for the plan. 100 miles or so ago at 1600 miles I got a staple in my tire that could not be patched. From the plan I got a new tire and the plan more than paid for itself. The only downside is that each plan has a lifetime maximum benefit. be sure to check into that. Also, most only cover structural wheel damage defined as the wheel being disfigured in such a way that the tire cannot hold air.

              Congrats on your new purchase!

I still haven't got my car yet! They promise for sure that it will be ready for me tomorrow (heard this like a dozen time)! They even offer to deliver the car on a flatbed to my house and pick up the loaner from me. I've been driving this loaner for over two weeks and racked over 1300 miles!

While waiting here is the optional protection plans they offer me:

Dent Zone Protection (5 yrs): $750
unlimited amount of ding and dent no bigger than the size of a credit card

Windshield + Road Hazard for Tires and Wheels (5 yrs): $750

              GAP Insurance (5 yrs): $534

Extended Warranty: $2260 for either 7 years or 100,000 miles <-- is this really worth it or nessasary?

              Lo Jack w/early warning: $1195

So which protection should I go for? I agree about the Road Hazard plan for my windshield and tires + wheels.

              Thanks for everyone input

              Aero Kit

Thanks for the compliments. Laser Red stands out so much but I love it! LOL

and today I got my Aero Kit installed.
The only problem I have now is that 3rd Brake Lamp

So my dealer offer to tint my car for FREE. I guess at least that make up for something...
So I guess I will just have to research on what to do about that 3rd Brake Light.
