As I pulled up to a speed bump at my apartment complex, I noticed a thumping sound from the rear of the car. It wasn't that bad, it just sounded a little louder than before. Anyways, as I got out of the car, I noticed that my trunk wasn't closed all the way. (I have the 06 w/intelligent key and the trunk button). Now I know I haven't accessed the trunk all day. Could the speed bump have caused the trunk to open? Has this happened to anyone before?

 

dont know or maybe the person you locked in the bumper used the emergency release??! haha

 

Haha. I knew i should've made sure my ex was knocked out first. . Seriously though, the trunk indicator didn't even lit up.

 

i didnt know the 06 has a trunk open indicator...

You know what...I just realized that I might of accidently pressed the trunk button on the key fob while driving. I have all kinds of **** in my pocket plus the keys. Just wondering when it was open though, because i was on the expressway doing 80+mph.

 

i dont think the keyfob will open the trunk if the car is running...

 

Must have happened before I went home from work. I am surprised it never fully opened up...whew . Would've been very bad.
