I was thinking of buying the side molding from Grubbs but would like to know what you guys think. I know it will take away from the smooth lines of the car, but Im hoping to reduce door dings. Nothing worse than getting a door ding on a new car!

Nice! Thanks for the pic too. My car is that exact same color so you gave me exactly what I needed to make my decision. Was that installed at the dealer or did you do it yourself? I thinking of getting the side molding and the splash guards.

 

Personally, I think the BSM's don't kill the look of the car. I really want to get them for function and not anything else. The only problem is they are about $140 from the dealer which I find expensive for small little stick on pieces =(

I added BSM to my coupe and think it improves the profile and breaks up the large side doors. If you do install it, make sure you line it up first and tape it exactly where you want it before you peel off the backing.

 

Nice pic. Now I see what a coupe will look like with the BSM and the splash guards. If anyone was wondering, Grubbs Infiniti has the BSM kit for $100. I know it seems expensive for some stick-on pieces but if it helps stop door dings... If you go to the freshalloy website, theres also a thread that shows you how to recieve a 5% discount. Not much but better than nothing. My local dealer also wanted $140.

 

I think the BSM looks sweet. It really breaks up the large door. I'm thinking of getting it juss for the look ( I don't care about the function ) .

when i bought the car, splash guards/side molding came as it is... It looks Clean... i'll take closer pic and post asap...

I think it looks alright, but it's kind of weird that it stops suddenly at the front of the door. It looks a bit incomplete; better to have a small piece on the front quarter IMO.
