Help in removal of back thingy.

Hey guys, how do I remove the thing in the center of the back seat on my coupe? Are there any instructions online?

Re: Help in removal of back thingy.

If your talking about the console, the seat cushion and the console is one piece. To remove, just pull up on the leading edge on the seat cushion, It just snaps out. No tools necessary.

Yep, very high tech wording I have there. Thanks for all those that replied with "helpful" posts.

Re: Help in removal of back thingy.

Billr, what do you mean by: the seat cushion and console are one piece? Is the center console in the rear attached to the seats or does it have its own cushion?

Re: Help in removal of back thingy.

black, are you planning on replacing it with a real armrest? I'm thinking of doing the same but I don't quite know any way to go about doing that.

Re: Help in removal of back thingy.

I am going to replace it with some sort of leather to match the back. I dont really like the center console. If i have any progress, I'll post.
