So after 3 weeks of my brakes squeeking like a cat died in my front wheel well i finaly got them fixed properly through infiniti on thursday, and i have been loving my car to death. Than without fail a new problem arises. In the middle of a sweet pleasentful night drive, in the blink of an eye, my nav screen shuts off, my music cuts out, and the ac is turned on. I tried restarting the car that did not help. Also i know that are bose system has problems but i recently got mine replaced, and to top things off its cupled with my nav screen not even turning on, and my ac stuck at 71 degrees. I cannot change the temperature or use the defrosters. All the buttons glow like normally, they just don't work. The stereo wont even turn on. What is going on i feel like my car lives at infiniti. i mean cant i jus have some peace. Any way has this ever happened to anyone, or does any one have any ideas what may be the cause of the problem. i feel like maybe a fuse has blown for some reason, but im probably wrong. im going to take my car to infiniti but they are booked till next week so now i have to be cold all the time without the vibrant glow of the nav screen, and no music, at least my exhaust still works though, or maybe i just jinxed myself

 

very odd never heard of that... sorry dood would love to help. Why did you get your bose system replaced just out of curiosity? Im trying to make the best of my warranty before its up in january...

 

I think thats the first i have heard of that as well...Sprinkle some holly water on it and see if it says" It burns...It burns"

 

It sounds like your circuit board thats behind your radio which controls your heat and ac as well. I'll bet money on it!!

 

03.5 coupe here and the same thing happeneded to me. There is a dealer service notification on this. They replace the main board in the console. Covered under warranty.

 

Sometimes a reboot will cure a computer glitch. Disconnect your car's battery leads, and then reconnect after a few minutes. It's a long shot, but maybe you'll get lucky.

 

i got my bose unit replaced because it wound't work one day. Only the radion worked but no cd's, they replaced it under warrenty, and they said it happens alot

unpluggin the battery did not work....you got me all hopeful for no reason fast 1, lol just playing, next tuesday my car goes in to the dealarship, i hope its the circuit board and i hope its under warrenty like k hojnacki says

 

the same thing happened to mine a couple of years ago. out of the blue for no reason the radio stopped working. everything looked a ok, but nothing worked. dealer replaced the radio and some other stuff i can't remember.
