Motordyne spacer question
Motordyne spacer question
I really would like to buy the 5/8" spacer from MD. It looks like a great mod. I just would like to know if any of you had check engine lights or SES lights after the install.
One of the best mods I have done. Deff. gains, and you can feel it especially on the high rpms. One of the easiest installs. Under an hour. Just make sure to check your bolts after a few days. They can get loose.

lol
I got the 5/16 and am glad i did, along with the Z tube and K n N filter you will see a difference, make sure you follow the directions if you are doing it your self , and make sure you have a torque wrench, you can mess up your block without one.
Good luck
Good luck
Spacer land.........................
As you can tell this is a great mod. We have only
good things to say about MotorDynes spacers. It
is one of the best mods I've made so far............

I don't think unplugging the MAF does anything. If it does, I haven't noticed.
I certainly do it when I made some changes to my intake to save stress on the cable, and it's almost impossible not to if you install a Stillen air box, etc.
But I agree on not unplugging the throttle body and keep your fingers off the plate.
I did do the neg battery disconnect/brake pedal hold with ign. ON before starting it up. Not sure that does anything but it runs like a cut mouse!

Thanks for your input. I just bought this coupe 2 weeks ago and this will be the first mod that I install on this car...besides wheels/tires. I think it will be a good complement to the headers and intake. Thanks again.
