Poor guy. At least it's still a G.... I'm pretty sure.
Lessons learned:
1. Be careful how you express yourself in your subject line. Humble, is a nice trait. Let others proclaim your car as the hotest ever, not YOURSELF. This is common man-rule you've broken my friend.
2. Don't take pictures of your car when it's DIRTY if you're trying to impress!!! That alone did it for me. It's okay if your posting a pic and asking for help and need to take a quick shot to clarify, but with your title and dirty car, again my freind another man-rule broken.
3. Don't take pictures trying to show off a new project, IF IT ISN'T FREAKIN DONE!!! You're dash looks horible with nothing there but wires and sh&# hanging.
Now for my suggestions, and take it for what it's worth. I love the idea of a two-toned interior. The 06's have it as an option and it looks VERY classy in my opinion. The suede is a nice touch as well. You started out with great ideas. The blue would even work for me if there was some consitancy. Grey or a darker blue would rock, but again you have too much going on. The Infiniti logos on the seats now look out of place not being the same color as the blue. The orange stiching does not match at all and looks funny. Two-toned. Not three or Four tones. It's just too much for a car like this, or a car in general IMO. Trunk and roof liner: The designs could work if they were a little more simple. The blue in the trunk would look a lot better if it were a small border around the trunk or something more subtle. Same for the roof.
The neon light up globe mirror thingy. Not coming close to feeling this one. It just looks like a mirror and if it lights up you might really lose me.
I'm not trying to hate or flame believe it or not. There are a few people here who are sincerly trying to help you bro. Take some of the advice here from others to heart.
Quick fix: Die the blue darker and have some re-stiching done in the same color. Figure out a way to make the roofliner and trunk more subtle. Get rid of the Malcolm X theme and do something more tasteful.
Again, this is just my opinion and it's a free world. If you're happy that's all that matters, but be a little more humble homie.
And post some pics when the dash is done

I'm not sure I understand where that is coming from...I think that is part of the "it doesn't flow" problem people are commenting on.

reminds me of the acura emblem
does the painting above worth 37 million dollars and does it even look good? I don't think so, but it doesn't change the fact that it's one of a kind a price for the piece is 37 million dollars

I just checked back in on this thread after a couple of days of flaming for this guy. What the hell happened to the picture of the head unit??? That is what really set most of this off. I'm not saying you can't spend your money on what you want, to each his own you know. But I could think of much better things to do with 10 large. If he likes it, I guess that's cool. Personally I'd rather take 10 grand and go FI

Yes, that painting does look good and it is hanging on my wall. Poor poor example. I love Van Gogh's work. You can even see through his paintings how they changed as he progressively went crazy. Real art, something your car is not!Originally Posted by vsokolov
