I'm looking to finally get some tint for my car, anyone got some pictures of a DG Coupe with tint? Trying to decide...somewhere between 20-35%? Any thoughts?

Sorry no pics but I just got 20% on my brilliant silver 2 weeks ago...looks great and you can still see in a bit so the cops should (hopefully) be ok. I got 35% on my Maxima last time and regretted it 10 minutes after it was done....get the 20.

 

if that is your only range then get 20%

Here is one 35% all around, I don't like it too dark.

 

get 15%! i had 50%, then got 35%, now i have 15%, and its deff better to get dark.

 

I would care more about the type/quality of the film than %.

 

Just remember that tint does fade over the years. Your 35% now might not look as dark say 2-3 years down the road. With that said, I'd get at least 20%. 35% is good when new but isn't worth it after it starts to fade.

DG also--over the factory they put on approximately 33% front windows, then about 20% on the back sides and rear. View out is not impeded much, but when sun hitting it can't see in at all.

 

as long as the tint doesn't get you trouble from police, any % is good. Ca is very strick about the tint over driver and passenger side window.

 

Heres mine - 5% on rear, 18% on sides, 35% on the windshield. IMHO, 35% isnt near enough for the sides/rear.

 

Don't mean to divert the thread, but sorry for the small pics I posted. Thought I had the posting figured out, but see I didn't. Dealing with a 1.2 MB file from the camera, how does one get it down in Photoshop to the 266 KB file that the forum requires, and still have it in a decent size, like 'bobshui' did?
