Without my G for 5 weeks...
Well, i posted that I sunk my G35 in a deep puddle about a month ago. Definately am pissed at myself for doing that. However, I have been without my G35 for about 5 weeks. This is killling me. There is no way that this should take this long. "They" have ordered the wrong engine twice (both automatics). Raleigh Infiniti of NC blames Nationwide Ins for the mistake and Nationwide blames Raleigh Infiniti. I have tried to get them on a 3 way call but the Nationwide lady is never in. WTF! And.. to top it off, i decided NOT to get rental coverage. ahhggg!
Anyway, I can't wait to get in my G and let her RIPPPPP! Looking forward to picking her up however, i don't have any clue when that will be.

I undestand your pain. My G was rear-ended and damage was estimated at $18,000. Ins Co said damage needed to be at least $20000 to be totalled. It took the ins co 1.5 weeks to get the car out of the pound and towed to my body shop. Then, body shop said repair would be about 3 months. I was so pissed. In the meantime, since my rear window was smashed, there was tons of dust and crap in my car from just sitting in the pound.
Anyway, it took the body shop about 3 weeks to get the parts for my car, then after taking a more careful look at it, they found addiitonal work that would add to the estimate and make it around $21000. So after all that, the ins co decided after 1.5 months to just call it a total loss.
I did have rental car coverage but I had a Grand Am which had terrible seats and started to give me serious back pain. Its a crime to be poor man.
I took my ins money and went straight to the dealership and bought another Coupe. I'll tell you, it was all worth the wait. Just be patient. It will make your reunion that much sweeter.
