went to buy rims today, need help. wont fit.

I have an 06 MT Coupe with sport package (if that makes a difference.)

Situation 1
Well I went to go check out those Volk GT-7's for my car. THey are coming off a 350z. the rears are 20x10.5 offset is 24 and the front is 19x9.5 30 offset. well the rear went on fine, but I was scared cuz it looked like it sticks out toooooo much. He had to shave the fender on his Z.

Question #1.... ARe the rear fenders of the Z wider then the G35, and will this offset cause problems? offset 24 on 20x10.5 wide rims tires are 275/35/20

Situation 2.
When we went to put on the front, there is a bolt on the rotor itself that sticks out. when we tried to put on the rim is didn't clear this bolt. it looks like the wheel is supposed to cover this bolt

Question #2..... what is this bolt for... if you look at the rotor. there are 5 studs for the wheels then inbetween 2 of the studs there is this bolt that sticks out in the middle of the stubs but closer to the center of the rotor.
well the wheel in the front is 255/35/19 offset is 30

hopefullly you guys understand what i'm talking about. Any dealers run into this problem please help. I was really going to get these wheels but now I'm scared of these issues.

u have to remove that bolt on the rotor, just use a ratchet to remove it...you need to take it off when u put on aftermarket wheels... its there so u wont mistakenly put the stock rear wheels on the fronts

1.) Im running +26 on the rear, +29 on the front, yes it is basically flush with the rearwheel wells but I have had no issues. Are you planning on droppping it?
2.) Remove the bolt and space. It for stock wheels so they dont get the wheels screwed up when they reinstall them.

If you like the wheels and its a good deal I'd say go for it. Unless you really want to drop the car lower you should not have an issue

I was planning on getting tein flex, and dropping a little, the rim actually stuck out just a little with the 24 offset. he said if I dropped the car that it would bow in, (negitive camber), I didn't want to run into that problem as well, so I guess thats a negative.

so that bolt is just something for the stock wheels to line up. so no problems with taking it off.

well my final decision is not to get the wheels. I'm worried about the rear and didn't want to have to shave or roll the fenders if i drop it. they looked good on the car tho, but i guess thats with almost any rim with a huge lip.

thanks for the info. i think i'll be saving up for those work VS-XX's

that bolt prevents you from putting the stock rear tires on the front
