Question

I hope I'm not highjacking, but I have a question about the spacer options as well. Maybe this will add to your question G35-G35...

What is the MAIN difference we should expect between the 5/16" and 1/2"?

What I do know:
* 5/16" allows you to keep the OEM plenum cover.
* 1/2" does not ^

What about HP/Torque differences?

I seem to hear/see more members go with the 5/16", is this b/c of the OEM cover or performance?

Is the 1/2" *TOO MUCH* space? Decrease in HP?

Thanks,
-WoW

no the 1/2 is not to much space and you do not lose any HP. with the 5/16 spacer you get your HP a little earlyer than you do with the 1/2 spacer. But when the 1/2 space kicks in, you get more HP with it than you do the 5/16.

Hope this clears some things up.

And i think the setup you are wanting will do just fine for you. You will love the sound it gives you and the push back in your seat the spacer will give you (either spacer). I went with the 1/2 MD spacer and the JWT popcharger for my intake system. I Love It!!!

5/16"
allows you to keep engine cover
gains throughout the power band

1/2"
doesnt allow the use of the engine cover
slightly less power in the low end but youll gain it back and a little more up top
