Hey guys, can anyone tell me the size of the bulbs for the 06 headlight's turn signal? The ones from the 05's didn't fit, so :P

Nawh actually it changed from 7443 to 7440, the 05 turn lights stay light and become brighter when blinking. 06 stays off and only turns on when lit. Both bulbs will fit, its just that the 7443 is a dual filament bulb.

hmm that would make sense that the 05 turn signals are dual filament.

but shouldnt it still fit/work on the 06?

o.... that makes sense, i was trying to figure out why the light wasn't coming on (driving light). Didn't know that the bulbs only turned on with the turn signals.. :P
again, thanks for all the help guys, thx for that link!

BTW, HELP AGAIN:
Right now, when I turn on my turn signals (no bulb in headlight), my rear lights blink very fast, along with the lights in my cabin. Does anyone know why this is so? Is it because I have no bulbs in the headlight signals?

+1 on the Piaa mirror orange bulbs -

As far as the quick blinking, my other car used to do that when a bulb was burned out - so it might be because you're missing the blinker bulbs like you said - not sure though.

my 04 signal wedger did not fit my 06 headlight all the way, but I just pushed it in half way and it actually got stablized pretty well.

Ah, so the 06 turn signal doesn't stay on, huh? I have the 06 housing and just got the PIAA Mirror Orange myself. Now, the question is, is there a dual filament bulb that will stay on? That might be kinda nice to have it stay on and blink when turning, like our 05's do. Also, so we fit the 7443 into the 06 housing to have it stay on?

Well I think its not just a function of the bulb, it must be wired so that there is constant power to the bulb when the switch is turned which was the case in the 05 models and activating the turn stalk would activate the second filament. So if you have 06 I think in addition to 7443 bulb you need to change the way the power is supplied. But I am no electrician so dont quote me.

P.s. the mirror orange 7440 bulbs from autolumination.com work just as well as the PIAA but cost 1/10th. Have had them for a year, no problem.
