Front lights installed

The fog's are the biggest PITA. Once I got the first fog light in, the other side was easy. Here's the final result

Piaa LED white 168 bulbs on the clearance and side marker
SPP super white bulb from www.supremepower.com

Re: Front lights installed

Could you guys take some pics not too close, more so you could see the whole car at night. I just wonder how the G looks if you see it on the streets at night.

Thanks

Re: Front lights installed

I got the H4 Super White 60W/55W SPP precision optic. Alot of people from e46fanatics.com use these for their fog lights.

I got mine at super autobacs. I couldn't wait for the lights to be shipped.

MrElussive: what would you suggest instead? I like the look of the G in the picture, but I dont want bulbs that burn out before I need them.

Re: Front lights installed

bkchang, how's the output compared to the stock bulbs? I ask because the only other bulb that I have found matches really well is the CATZ Aqua, but afr0puff says that they output less light than the stock in his opinion. I have the Silverstars, which are too yellow for my taste, but they have very good light output. I Don't want to loose this if I don't have to.

Re: Front lights installed

The bulbs only burn out quik b/c they were installed incorrectly. When you put finger prints or grease on em, thats when they burn out too fast. Use those latex gloves when you are handling the bulbs and installing. Also make sure you don't touch any part of your exposed skin with the gloves.

Re: Front lights installed

Mr. Elussive was referring to PIAA H4s. Bkchang did not use PIAA H4s. He used the Precision Optics H4 Super White 60W/55Ws from this website. I have heard that PIAAs burn out fast, however, I have also read about people who have had them in for years without any problems. These people make a point of it to say that they installed the bulbs with gloves. But then how come I NEVER hear complaints about Silverstars burning out? It's not like only the people with PIAAs are reckless when it comes to their installation.

Re: Front lights installed

My roomate put the spp lights in his prelude and felt that the light output is the same as stock. To me it reminds me of the Piaa superwhite bulbs.

Re: Front lights installed

Lol we just need some really rich guy to directly compare light outputs of these different bulbs. Thanks for the input, I'll probably get a pair of these since they're relatively cheap!
