mirror base?
Okay so 2day I broke the mirror base on my car. I backed into a garbage pail a couple of weeks ago and cracked it, and 2day it just broke off completly, just wanted to know how much this part costs+install. Its the piece that the mirror rests on.
thanks in advance

If you're talking about the black plastic piece that holds the mirror on.. you have to buy the entire mirror. Assuming your painted mirror housing/shell is not damaged, order a whole new mirror here:

When you get the new mirror, take apart the new mirror by disassembling the wiring harness one wire at a time and then back the wires out through the old broken black plastic mirror mount. Run them through the new one, and then reinsert the wires into the harness... put on the harness lock piece, and reassemble your door and everything.
It's not that hard. If you pay Infiniti to fix this, they will charge you about 600 bucks for the part, labor and painting of the new mirror. If you do it yourself, you'll be able to fix it for just the 150 dollar cost of the mirror, plus about an hour of your time.
AIM me at partyman66 if you need more detail on how to fix this or have any specific questions. I've helped a few others with this same thing ever since I had to fix mine when a malicious punk broke mine off my car while i was parked in a parking garage about a year ago.
