this confuses the heck out of me, why are so many people claiming that the 05-06 is MUCH faster the 03-04 and thats not even talking about the 6MT vs 5AT debate and the coupe is faster than the sedan debate..... all i got to say is that the slips show everything and internet racing its really stupid.

Well to me, until you get eberyone to go to the same track to get numbers they are all just numbers. You have different altitudes, tempatures, and humdity. With all those uncontrolable varibles, everyone's times are just that, everyone's times.
I used to race very regularly, and my opinion is that the coupes are just a lil faster. The manuals are again just a lil faster, and year built is a lil trickier.
03-04's are faster at the get go, but by the end of 2nd gear the 05-06's start to edge ahead, just slightly.
I have done this several times with several different G's.I'm ot the engineer here, but troque is what gets you going and Hp is what keeps you going, more HP, more speed. Hard to explain, but again this is my opinion so take it for what it's worth!

I've been to the track only once, and it was last year. My car is a 2003 Coupe, completely stock. I didn't remove anything from the car, I've never ever tried racing of any sort before so it was a real first timer for me.
I did a 14.51 @ 99.6 mph
I have the april 2003 issue of car and driver where they introduced the car and did some performance testing with the exact same car as mine (it was even in caribbean blue) they claim the car does a 14.2 which mean i pretty much such at launching that thing

14.33 @ 99mph stock at Orlando Spin World.
14.00 @ 99mph on a hot 90 degree day at Bradenton Motorsports with Crawford plenum, Crawford hi-flows, and HKS exhaust.
I will hit 13s this fall since I'm finally getting a new transmission and I replaced my cats with test pipes....but I've also been saying I'll run 13s for the a long time and I continue to disappoint myself.
