Bose Stereo Failure

So starting a few days ago my stock Bose CD player has been making weird noises when I start the car up. It sounds like it's trying to load a CD but can't and does this for about 20-30 seconds right when I start the car. I took the car to Infiniti today and found out that the stereo is broken so they're gonna order me a new one. Has anyone else had this problem? It's not a big deal as the dealership is doing it under warrenty, but I couldn't find any posts for this problem.

Cheap @ss clarion shiat. I'm so pissed off with my bose system. My stock civic sounds way better! I'd upgrade, but I'm waiting for all the new cars to come out. If I decide to keep the car, all that clarion/bose garbage is going to be ripped out and lit on fire! lol

I get this sometimes when I turn off my car. Does that mean I have the same problem? Anyone else notice this?

Dont have that exact problem, but my dealer has ordered me a new radio also because the left side speakers dont work half the time while a CD is playing. As far as I understand it, the unit they are ordering for us is refurbished and has the potential of something else giong wrong with it.

I guess I'll be the bad guy - do a search! There are hundreds of threads asking about this problem on driver. And if you take the time to search those, you may find even more valuable information than you might get in this thread. For example, other threads address how to get CDs back from Bose/Infiniti when they take the player out, simple tricks for dislodging stuck discs (in some cases), other issues with the Bose/Clarion head unit, how to install another OEM HU yourself (if you so choose), how to replace the HU with an aftermarket double din unit, etc.

Got both problems - speaker cutting out and CD not loading. Waiting for headunit on back order, sigh.
