Proposed 2007 G35 Community Wall Calendar - Submissions
Not, to leave out the Infiniti side of the family last year we looked into producing a G35 community calendar to compliment the Z32 and Z33 but ultimately ended up not having enough submissions. So, I'm just trying to get a feel for what the community thinks this year. Do you want to try and do one? I know there are plenty of awesome G's out there.
Just as a reference we first started doing an annual community wall calendar for the 300ZX back in '02. This will be our 5th year doing that calendar and our 3rd year doing a 350Z calendar.
I know the G owners over at My350Z were pretty in to the idea, so I submit it unto y'all. I'll go ahead and outline the reqs and specs below, so everyone can get a feel for whats involved. Honestly, its really alot of fun to get out and shoot your car with a purpose and the end result of having your own car on the wall is at least to me uber rewarding.
Published Specs:
Size: 11" x 8.5"
Binding: Saddle Stitched
Drill: 1/8"
Paper: 80# Gloss Text
Count: 28 Pages
Color: 4/4
Submission Guidelines:
1.) Image Quality: Please submit images of no less than 5 mega pixels. 6MP or 3008 x 2000 is the ideal size image. ( In an ideal world we would all be shooting on DSLR's but today's point and shoots are very capable so I feel secure in raising the resolution bar to 5/6MP's.)
2.) Content: While I think we can all appreciate the female form, please do not make submissions featuring a "model" of any sort. Each year I receive these and that is not what the calendar is about.
3.) Composition: Please do not submit photos of your car taken in your driveway. While some of you have terrific houses and lawns the point of the calendar is inspiration through design (The Z) and composition (The Background). Please try and submit photos with interesting thematic backgrounds. Seasonal works great, a perfect example being
This photo inspires me every time I see it. (We can only dream of seasonal variation like that in Florida!)
