And i already have warning lights...

1) "SLIP" indicator is coming on
2) "VDC OFF" indicator is coming on
3) "BRAKE" indictor comes and goes
4) Is the clock supposed to be lit or dark? mine is dark

1 and 2 are coming on together... any ideas?

Yes, clock is lit. Those 3 lights on together mean something is wrong electrically. Take it to a dealer.

Called the dealership, he said new brakes would more then likely fix it. i want to just go out and put some brembos on it, but does the car need to be reset or anything?

 

my VDC OFF, BRAKE, and SLIP lights came on all together when my front break pads were worn off. as soon as they changed them all was back to normal. I have a 2003 as well.

Just take it to the dealer and see whats up.If you wanna know for yourself than hook the ob2 up to your car so you can see what it says instead of having the dealer tell you.Ive saved alot of $$ that way.!!

 

i ordered new brembo front pads and rotors so i'll see it that fixes it

no, but definitely didn't get them from the dealership. they wanted 370 for a brake job and 240 more for rotors. i got new front pads and rotors for $402 and thats with tax so i figured not bad. i want to get some brembo calipers but i haven't found any prices. used ones on ebay were up to $550 so i dunno

 

ya changing ur brakes should take care of 1-3 i changed by rotors and pads for $400 that includes brembo slotted rotors and hawk hps pads i think i got a good deal
