Another route to take that is always cheaper is to go to a Nissan dealer. Their 30k service is typically under $300. Still a lot but much less than Infiniti which does the exact same work.

LI-G35Driver:

Hey, I got my G35 Coupe from Competition infiniti too. (I live in Ronkonkoma, NY) The only service I had done there was the first oil change.

My car has 17k miles on it now. I did the 15 k miles service myself, basically got a synethic mobil1 change for $60, and filters cost around $30k.

As far as 30k, I am thinking have it done at the dealership.. why? they do many other things such as check hoses, adjust brakes (mine's not so very smooth lately, maybe pads are running low).

After all it's 10 k before the warranty ends. I do not want they bring that $hit up when I have warranty issues (already brought it in couple of times)

It's not worth the price, but for the sake of warranty, I say just do it for 30k, 60 and 90k, you should do them yoursef

G35c, that is to funny. I am about 15 minutes from you, right up the road from Port Jeff.

Well I just called Massapequa.. I was told $480 for the 30,000 miles and they do the oil change and filter/ Engine filter/ replace the wiper inserts/ change the cabin and fuel filter/ rotate tires (mine have 3k miles on them so no need) and just inspect a bunch of things. Minus well just go to Smithtown since they are just $15 more and seem to do the transmission fluid too unless Massapequa just failed to mention they do the transmission to (I forgot to ask). I agree the atmosphere and people can be nicer at one place over another but it seems the same thing gets done at both places. I asked Massapaqua if I don't do this, it doesnt void the warranty does it and they said no but its good to do. I am thinking let them do the oil change and transmission and Ill do the filters and well call it done....

I mean the two filters cost what $50 and a half hour of my time? Transmission and oil change cant cost more then $150...

Anyone else care to add to this thread?

Chris

I gather all we really should do is have them change the oil and Automatic Transmission fluid...

Then we change the in cabin filter and the engine air filter and call it done?

Chris
You can get most of these services done a Jiffy Lube and it will be as official as having Nissan/ Infiniti do it for you. You can have any service place do these things or you can do them yourself. Nissan/ Infiniti can't say that these services can only be done by them to maintain you warrantee. Those services would qualify as Add on Sales which we consumers are protected against.
