do you want to take out the entire headlight housing? or just change the bulbs. if you just wanna change the bulbs then theres no need to take the headlight housing out (unless you have big hands).

Is xeon an actual bulb or is it a some kind of gas? I always though xeon was a gas and was extremely expensive....Its not something you can buy at autozone or something right?

It's a regular bulb, but the gas inside of the bulb is different. They are much more expensive than regular halogen bulbs, but they last much much longer than halogen. You have to get them from specialty stores (mainly online places) or the dealer.

they can range anywhere from 60 bucks a pair to 500 bucks a pair. my friend got some from ebay for 100 bucks and they are identical to my philips 6000k ultinons (i payed 210 for mine - worth every penny IMO)

i think it is pretty safe to say that philips 6000k ultinons is among the top favorite HID bulbs here on the forums
